Our engineers are well-versed in tools like Airwatch, JAMF, OS X Server, HEAT software, iOS and Mac OS Deployment methodologies, CatDV, StorNext, Directory Integration, Active Directory, Python, shell scripting, Puppet, Munki, and much more.
About you
You’re comfortable in the command line and have strong interest in Linux and open source technologies. You’ve taught yourself more than you’ve learned in a classroom and you’ve got a solid understanding of networking and device management. Most importantly you are well-versed in the technologies above, or feel you can become so.

What we’re looking for
Key indicators for an engineer at Macprofessionals include:
– Deep knowledge of OS X, and OS X Server
– Command of principles surrounding device management on iOS and OS X, including relevant toolsets (e.g., Apple Configurator, Profile Manager and third-party MDM’s, DEP, ASM, Thin Imaging)
– You should be able to consult at a high level around introducing thousands of devices into customer environments
– Apple certifications
– Apple platform integration. Not just how to bind a computer to Active Directory, but how to troubleshoot things like poorly designed domains, DNS, and client issues
– Strong grasp of security fundamentals as it impacts the Apple platform
What you’ll be doing

– Acting as the front line for customers using a wide range of technologies, including lifecycle management, SANs, MDM’s, and more.
– Learning on the job, and looking for ways to grow your experience and skill sets
– Documenting problems and working to resolve them and determine root cause
– Helping co-workers learn from you, while you learn from them
